China’s daily crude steel output falls in last 10 days of May

According to statistics released by China Iron & Steel Association (CISA), the daily crude steel output of the major steel mills in China was 1.612 million tons in the last 10 days of May, falling by 4.7% from the previous 10 days.

Therefore, CISA predicted that the country's daily crude steel output would be at 1.9596 million tons in the last 10 days of May, down by 3.9% in comparison of that in 10 days ago.

Accordingly, the country's total crude steel production in the given period of time is estimated at 21.556 million tons.
